It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Harris (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on November 5, 2018, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Grant Harris, Sr.; and her child Hannah Ruth Swint (Willie). She is survived by: her child Reverend Grant Harris, Jr. (Rebecca). She is also survived by son, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, twenty great great-grandchildren, four great great great-grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“I loved Ms Harris so much. I should have gone to see her more than once or twice. My baby brother and my mom passed away. I became very depressed. I’m sorry. My daughter in law was going to name her baby Georgia Leann. I was so excited. I told her Ms Harris’ name was Georgia Anne. She had a boy. Ms Harris was the kindest person I have ever met. I will love her always.”
