He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Haynes, Sr. and Rosa Wade Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Forestine Haynes; his children, Michael Odom, Emily Maupin (Kiley) and Joseph Watson; his stepchildren, Dionne, Kathy and JJ; and his godsons, James Bingham and DeWayne Berry.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Brainerd Chapel (4203 Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ponders Brainerd Chapel (4203 Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
