He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lawson; his children, Sherrill Jean Lawson and Jim Lawson; and his friend Thomas Nihiser. He is survived by: his children, Judy Nihiser, Sherry Robinson (Wayne) and Robert Lawson Jr.; and his grandchildren, Ricky Doyal Jr (Lindsay), Corey Doyal (Amanda), Kadi Justus (Stephen), Jackie Robinson, Troy Robinson (Misty), Jeremy Robinson (Randella), Rebecca Ward and Elizabeth Ward. He is also survived by 25 Great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, his fur baby " Buddy" as well as several nieces and nephews.
