With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Hankins Adamson (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Greeneville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 5, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Rice and Chlodia Harmon Hankins; her sisters, Margaret Hankins and Alice Hankins (Malcolm M. Adamson); and her son Michael M. Adamson.

She is survived by: her son Marion J. Adamson of Nashville, Tennessee; her grandson Stuart E. Adamson of Nashville, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Adamson of Greenville; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Adamson Lawson (Chad) of Tryon and Stephanie Adamson Williams (Dustin) of Hillsborough.
