It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Genevieve L. Jennings (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Swan and Lucille Spann, Sr.; her daughter Tracey Lee Jennings; and her siblings, James Swan Spann, Jr., Wilhelmena Spann Young, Lorraine Spann Wylie, Cornelia Spann Bridges and Adelia Spann Owens.
She is survived by: her husband David Lee Jennings; her godparent D'Wauna Mann; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Elliott of Chicago, IL., Geraldine Blanche Cox (Eugene) of LaGrange, IL., William (Virginia) and Marian Jack Spann (Lois) of Colorado Springs, CO.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends.
The family is requesting that no flowers be sent. Instead, donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
