He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenny Lee and Opal Pearl Hixson; and his siblings, Randall Hixson, Barbara Wilson and Nancy Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hixson; his children, Chad Hixson (Christy) and Jennifer Duke (Halston); his stepdaughter Regina Thompson (Hunt); his sister Jane Slater (Al); and his grandchildren, Julia, Jenna, Jace Hixson, Carter Duke, Harper Duke and Hayes Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
