He was predeceased by: his mother Betty McGowan. He is survived by: his children, Kellan McGowan (Kristin) of Austin, TX, Hunter McGowan (Seoul), Brittany Kolodziej (Mike) of Nashville, TN and Garry; his grandchildren, Watson James and Lucy Grace; and his aunt Esther Follis (Richard).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who are able to make a donation to the American Heart Association in Garry's name.
