She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Allen Brown and Annie Ruth Rutherford. She is survived by: her sons, Robert A. Brown, Sr. of Chattanooga and Derrick L. Thornton of Manassas, Virginia; her brothers, Fred Brown and George C. Brown of Chattanooga; her grandchildren, Shayla Johnson, Robert A. Brown, Jr., Brandii Brown, Devin Thornton and Kyle Thornton; and her close friends, Tina Carlisle and Verrita King. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; specially noted friends.
