With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freddie C Cooper in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cooper and Mabel Cooper; his siblings, Howard Jr. and Irene Wheeler; and his sons, Freddie Lee, Johnnie Ray and Vernon Cless.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Cooper; his stepchildren, Timothy Dabney, Paul Dabney (Ruby), Mary Goss (Ronnie) and Martha McLean (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Ryan Cooper, Eli Dabney, Rachel Dabney, Nathanael McLean, Karis Dabney, Daniel McLean, Michaela Dabney, Anna Dabney, Karsten McLean and Mercedes Goss.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in Fred's memory to one of the following: Teays Valley Baptist Church, the American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, or Hospice of Chattanooga.
