He is survived by: his daughter Allison; his children-in-law, Bryan Schrock of Owensboro, Kentucky and Cindy Simmons of Birmingham, Alabama; his granddaughters, Abigail Schrock, Ann Marie Simmons and Caroline Simmons; his siblings, Teresa Owen of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Andy; his sister-in-law Ann Simmons of Birmingham, Alabama; his niece Christina (Brent Johnson) of Hernando, Mississippi; the mother of his children Vivian Simmons Cripps of Owensboro, Kentucky; and his close friend Brad Walker.
