He was predeceased by: his father Fred Rosco Linkous; his sisters, June Parker, Freda McAfee and Peggy Sharpe; and his caregiver Delilah Baine.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Linkous; his daughters, Gwen Turpin (David) and Connie Hooper (Greg); his grandchildren, Morgan Bussey (Anthony), Reed Turpin (Violaine), Alexander Hooper and Hayes Hooper; and his great grandchildren, Norah Bussey and Margot Bussey.
