He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Harris and Nancy Branson Harris; and his sister Sylvia A. Harris. He is survived by: his children, Quincy Harris (Melodee) and DeShannon Jackson of Chattanooga; his stepchildren, Antiono Shackleford (Yolanda) of Atlanta and Tanara Hicks of Atlanta; his siblings, Sheila E. Harris of Chattanooga and R. Roland Harris (Betty); his uncle Dr. Nathaniel W. Branson of Baltimore, MD; his aunt Francis Branson of Colorado Springs, CO; and his close friend Linda Fuqua. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; several God Children.
