He was predeceased by: his parents, Amon A. Rice and Eva Bailey Rice; his son Stephen Rice; his grandson Dustin Lowrance; and his siblings, Mary, Eva, Raymond, Amon Junior, James and Doyle.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Rice; and his daughters, Kimberly Lowe, Julie Fulbright (Aaron) and Jan Lowrance. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Gardens South.In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Alzheimer's association at http://www.alz.org or your local branch office.
