He was predeceased by: his parents, David Brooks and Mary Brooks Harris; his son Frank Wesley Brooks, Jr.; and his sister Lola Mae Brooks. He is survived by: his spouse Mildred Wilson Brooks; and his children, Freddie Brooks (Princess), Francina Williams (Ronald), Terrie J. Freeman (Stephen) and Linda Brooks. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
