Frank Deviney Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Deviney Sr. (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Mull Deviney; his grandson Matthew Lloyd Sieh; his parents, Arlo Bryson Deviney and Oneida Paige Deviney; and his sisters, Norma Callahan (Max) and Bernice Cobb (William).
He is survived by: his children, Frank A. Deviney, Jr. (Karen), Linda Deviney Sieh (Stephen), Diana Ludmilla Potter (Lindsay) and Mary Alice Moore (John); his grandsons, Brian Deviney, Jonathan Moore, Richard Moore and Alexander Sieh; his uncle Loy Paige; and his close friends, Ronny and Shawn Durham. He is also survived by three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bartlebaugh Baptist Church (6129 Champion Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37416). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Bartlebaugh Baptist Church, general fund, or the Tennessee Aquarium.
