She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Stolpmann and Joseph Stolpmann; her former husband Daniel Mayo Barger; her husband Allen Heard Newell; and her siblings, Benjamin Stolpmann, Michael Stolpmann, Nicholas Stolpmann, Fred Stolpmann, Leo Stolpmann, Pauline Stolpmann, Agnes Harris and Helen Vanderslice.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Brown, Francine Labbe and Chuck Newell (Jen); her sisters, Genevieve Bowman and Mary Catherine Marshall; her grandchildren, Danette, Ellie, Alyx, Evan, Riley, Tessa and Zoe (Hudson); and her great grandchildren, Zander and Ambrose.
