She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney W. Lee and Eunice Gibson Lee; and her husband Edward Joe "EJ" Varner. She is survived by: her son Dr. Butch Varner (Jenny Manning Varner); her grandchildren, Joshua Varner and Micah Varner; and her sisters, Mildred Lee, Betty Grimes and Mary Lee.
