She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brooks and Ethel Brooks; and her siblings, Charles, David, Gary Brooks and Marilyn Spurling.
She is survived by: her husband William Kite; her sister Elaine Torbett (Leon); her daughters, Lynn Hullender, Marie Shappy (Leonard) and Destinie Haven; and her granddaughter Amanda Haven. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
