With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Cox Jones of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Craig and Velma Craig. She is survived by: her children, Ryan Cox and Keyota Cox; her daughter-in-law La'Shanta'Cox; and her grandchildren, TeAysha Marie Cox, Markeys DeJames Cox, Joshua E'Sean Cox, Kamilah Shareece Cox, Germaine Vestell Favors III, Jeremiah E'Sean Cox, Jamil Ryan Cox and Ciara Yvonne Cox.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John P. Franklin Funeral Home (1101 Dodds Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Vernon Grove Baptist Church (20 W 26th St, Chattanooga, TN 37408).
