With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emanuel Thompson (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on October 16, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Thompson and Maerene Thompson; his stepfather John Dozier; and his sister Artice Sims. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Thompson; his children, Angela Ramsey, Victoria Griffin (Calvin), Fernandes McClurkins, Teki Thompson, Karen Thompson, Carl Thompson and Brigette Benford; his siblings, Catherine Alexander, Mary Alice Whitten (Benny), Jacqueline Hall (Ira), Valencia Allen and Charles Thompson; his granddaughter Jacquelyn Swift; his cousin Eddie Jones; and his niece Katrina Smith. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild.
