It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Brooks (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Arnold and Lizzie Arnold; her siblings, Jack Muckle, Eunice Hurt and Ernestine Hampton; her nephews, Malvin and Edward Davis; her niece Carrie Smith; and her great-nephew Mark Hammond.

She is survived by: her brother Willie "Axel" Arnold, Jr.; her niece Barbara Davis; her great-nephews, Edwin Hammond (Lori) and Desmond Smith (Aquanetta); and her great-niece Dewuanna Crutcher of Chattanooga. She is also survived by great great nephews, other relatives and friends.
