She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Farley Burke, Sr.; her son Alton F. Burke, Jr.; her parents, Solomon Thomas, Sr. and Lizzie Mae Gantt Thomas; her siblings, Richard Lee Thomas, Solomon Thomas, Jr., Lilly Mae Thomas, Daisy L. Thomas Marble and Louise T. Mapp; and her niece Terri J. Marble Garrison.
She is survived by: her sisters, Luvenia Talley and Jeanette Thomas; and her nieces and nephews, Luvenia Taylor (Tony), Kimberly Bailey, Karen Diane Mapp Scott, Tony Taylor and Reginald D. Knight, Jr.. She is also survived by four great-nieces, one great-nephew, seventeen great-great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.
