He is survived by: his children, Gail Gillespie Bigler of Chattanooga, Bill Gillespie of Stone Mountain, Georgia and John Gillespie of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his stepdaughter Debbie West of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
