Ellen Whitaker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 83, Ellen Whitaker (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Case Shutze and Virgil Cox Shutze; her husband Phil of Chattanooga; and her grandson Clay. She is survived by: her brother Virgil Cox Shutze, Jr.; and her children, Barbara (John Overstreet), Philip, Jr. (Cynthia) and Charlie (Norvell).
In lieu of flowers, Ellen's family requests that donations be made in her memory to Church of the Good Shepherd or to McKamey Animal Center.
