She was predeceased by: her husband Ruben W. Shields; her daughter-in-law Lisa Shadrick Shields; her parents, Clyde Hammons and Inez Hammons; and her parents-in-law, Ruben and Pearl Shields.
She is survived by: her son R. Winston Shields; her granddaughters, Haley of Apison and Katie Shields of Apison; her sister Bobbie Carter of Bridgeport, AL; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Jennings (Bill). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
