He was predeceased by: his parents, Alec Harrison and Lillie Harrison; his former wife Jewel; his brother Eddie Harrison; his daughter Gail Harrison; his grandson Jordan; and his sister Daisy Quarles.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his son Edward, Jr.; his stepson Barry Griggs; his siblings, James Harrison, JC Jennings of Greenwood and Dorothy Evans of Honea Path; his nephew Larry Hawes; and his granddaughter Savannah Edwards. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
