She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn Lee Kirby and Tamar Clellie Cantrell Kirby; and her siblings, Melvin Kirby, Emma Kirby Stanley and Treva Kirby Sharpe.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eva Maynard, Ruth Light, Mary Stone, Judy Kirby and David Kirby; her children, Joy Eaton (Frank), Penny Gharanfoli and Robert Lemons (Chris); her grandchildren, Sherene Katzman (Michael) and Evangeline Blair (Brandon); her son-in-law Hossein Gharanfoli; and her niece Amy Joyner. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to the March of Dimes or the Audubon Society.
