With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Darden Newman (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on October 22, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lawrence and Moselle Mitchell Newman; his wife Mary Lynn Byrd Newman; and his children, Lawrence Stephen Newman (Heidi) and Gail Ann Cooke (John). He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
