He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Rothberger; his parents, Fred Rothberger and Florence Rothberger; and his siblings, Fred Rothberger, Margaret Lea, Ray Rothberger and Glenn Rothberger.
He is survived by: his sons, Earl Rothberger Jr. (Susan) and Mark Rothberger (Faye). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grand-children.
