She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Thurman; and her brother Greg Yantis. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Collins (Benny) and Brenda Sheeley (Larry); her sister Betty Southerland; and her grandchildren, Karen Adkins, Shelley James (Steve), Joy WIllson, Lawrence Sheeley (Betsy) and Sydney Sheeley. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
