With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Pearl Fann (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Browder, Kentucky, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Arnold and Irene Pogue Arnold; her husband James H. Fann, Jr.; and her siblings, Horace Arnold (Lou) of Flat Rock, James Calvin (J. C.), Arnold (Ettamae) of Hixson, Shirley Smith of Flat Rock and Margaret Lois Arnold of Browder, Kentucky..

She is survived by: her daughters, Deanne Fann (Matthias Freihube) of Enterprise and Susie Brown (Jeff) of Murfreesboro; her brother-in-law Charles Smith; her grandchildren, Stephen Baylor-Gilder (Patricia), Sean Michael Gilder, T. J. Brown and Chelsea Brown; her great grandchildren, Reese Gilder (Brittany), Carson Gilder and Melody Jean Gilder; and her great great grandchildren, Eleanora Gilder and Fiona Majors. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gentiva Hospice in Enterprise, Alabama or the Kingwood Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
