She is survived by: her mother Mildred Hicks; her children, Wendell Brooks and Gwendolyn Hicks; her brother Randall Hicks; her grandsons, Jerry Daniel, Marcellus Hatten and Xavier Brooks; her great grandchildren, Kylan "Brody" Daniel of Chattanooga and Aubrey Johnson of Chattanooga; her sisters-in-law, Cassandra Hicks and Brenda Hicks; her close friend Victor Allen; her nieces and nephews, Darrel Williams Jr., Michael Hicks, Jr., Lavonia Wills Hicks, Tasha Williams, Serita Watkins, Danny Hicks, Markeisha Hicks and Zachariah Hicks; her aunts, Thelma Holloway and Joyce Carter; her uncle Frizzell Turner; and her close friends, Willie Mae Allen and Angela Martín. She is also survived by cousins, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and close friends.
