She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Brooks and Nona Crutchfield Brooks Hinson; her husband Clayton Cooper; her daughter Pamela Turner; and her sister Helen Sorrells.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Gardenhire (Dexter) of Chattanooga and Vicki Howell of Clarksville; and her grandchildren, Phillip Walker of Chattanooga, Leslie Walker of Chattanooga, Erica Craft (Matthew) of Chattanooga, Christi Akins Holt of Clarksville and Gage M. Morse of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.
