She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Johnson and Mary Johnson; her husband George W. Curtis; her son Mike Curtis; her grandson Nathan Sewell; and her siblings, Thomas David Johnson, Harvey Johnson, Margaret Lanier, Alice Maree Johnson, Orvel Johnson, Sarah Frances Johnson and Geneva Estelle Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Sewell (Jimmy) and Jeff Curtis; her grandchildren, Shane Curtis (Kristen), Casey Curtis (Casey), Jason Sewell (Emily), Ashley Hall (Dustin), Chad Curtis (Elizabeth) and Blake Curtis (Chelsea); her great grandchildren, Gracelyn Sewell, Braxton Hall, Corbin Hall, Caroline Curtis, Embree Curtis, Greyson Curtis, Gaige Curtis and Trinity Dean; her sister Barbara Jean Eason; and her niece Judy Tims.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Chattanooga Memorial Funeral Home (144 Browns Ferry Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37419). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Park (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
