Donald Potter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, at the age of 83, Donald Potter of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fred and Edith Holt Potter; his daughter Anita Dilbeck; and his brothers, Larry Potter and Wayne Potter.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Potter, James "Fred" Potter, Joe Potter and Donald Ray Potter Jr.; his sisters, Tommye Spietz and Joyce Perry; his grandchildren, Lashaun Nichols, James Dalls Nichols, Charlie Potter, Emily Potter, Olivia Potter, William Potter and James Potter; his great grandchild Aurora Ransom; and his long-time love Judy Smartt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Chattanooga (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
