In loving memory of Donald L. Morton (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who departed this world on December 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Donald leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Joseph Morton and Edna Springfield Morton; and his brother James Austin Morton. He is survived by: his brother Dr. Jack Morton; his nieces, Carolyn Morton Jirlds of Houston, Karen Morton Smith (Stanton) of Soddy-Daisy, TN, Marnie Morton Kuhns (Dave) of Ringgold, GA, Karen Collins (Glenn) of Ringgold, GA and Lisa Kline (Chris) of Soddy-Daisy, TN; and his nephew Thad Morton (Gina) of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home-Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
