He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Erby and Nellie Erby. He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith-Erby; his children, Terri Johnson, Scott Erby of Franklin, TN, Stephen Erby and Tara Sanders; and his stepsons, Jason Harvey (Michelle), Soddy and Brad Thrasher (Caiti) of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and his beloved dogs.
