He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Griffin and Willie Mae Brummitt Griffin; and his siblings, Margaret Griffin, Jimmy Griffin and Faye Griffin.
He is survived by: his son Jon Griffin (Christina); his girlfriend Deborah Dobbins; and his siblings, Eugene Griffin, Sara Brannon, Wanda Haynes, Patty Burgess and Diane Middleton.
