He was predeceased by: his wife Reba Harris Jernigan. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Swift Jernigan (David Blakeman); his sister-in-law Doris Harris; and his nephews, Chris Harris (Tina), Ron Walker (Linda) and Todd Walker. He is also survived by four great nieces and one great nephew.
