He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Winfield and Willie Mae Scott; and his siblings, Roy Edwin, Martin Samuel Scott and Betty Sue Bean (Scott).
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Scott (Nancy) and Mike Scott (Elaine); his granddaughters, Debbie Smith and Martha Scott; his great grandchildren, Tucker Smith, Kendall Smith and Jordan Powers; and his sister Sarah Frances Howell (Scott). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
