It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Creek of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Geraldine, Alabama, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Charlotte shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charlotte farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orban Curtis and Cleo V. Watkins Gilbert; her sister Phyllis Jolley; her brother-in-law Cordell Jolley; and her niece Susan Beth Jolley.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Edward Creek; and her friend Beverly Langford.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made, in Charlotte's memory, to her church, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 1441 Crawford St. Chattanooga, TN. 37421.
