He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Bertha Elaster Layne and Riley Layne, Sr.; and his brother Allen R. Layne, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Angela Layne Hendley; his nieces, Laketha "Keke" Hendley, Tamara "Mara" Hendley and Taj Hendley; his nephew Allen Darnell Hendley of Donnie; and his stepchildren, John, Shannon Salazar, Cara Corbett and Dominique Harris. He is also survived by other nephew, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
