He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knowlan and Kattie Knowlan; and his siblings, Gilliam, Doug, John, George, Herschel, Margaret, Helen, Marie and Louise.
He is survived by: his wife Yoshiko Knowlan; his daughter Teresa Fields; his siblings, Preston Knowlan (Willene) and Troas Layne; his grandchildren, Brian Fields and Terra Bryson (Richard); and his great grandchildren, Llyra, Aria, Brea and Reyna Bryson.
