He was predeceased by: his father Fuller Capehart; and his brother Horace Capehart. He is survived by: his pet Zoey; his wife Patricia "Pat" Capehart; his children, Roger Capehart and Star Kinser (Frank); his grandsons, Travis Kelly and Matthew Warren; his great grandchild Ayden Kelly; and his sisters, Linda Pittman Jones (Mike) and Cindi Milam (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
