He was predeceased by: his parents, Fate Blevins and Myrtle Blevins; his wife Shizue; his daughter Lisa Cowan; and his brothers, James, Tom and Bill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Morris, Brenda Bleavins and Joanne Bleavins (Tarver Siebert); his sister Nancy Reeves; and his grandson Charlie Cowan.
