Cecile Yvonne Barnes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile Yvonne Barnes of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ruth Barnes Fain; her grandparents, W. C. and Lochie Barnes; and her brother Billy Brock. She is survived by: her children, Gail Skeen, Janice Allen (Steve), Jannett Robinson (Michael), Sandra Hall (Robert Johnson), Sheila Carroll (Carl) and Dale Skeen; her sister Nila Hicks; and also Jennifer Hammonds. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's research hospital in Cecile's memory.
