She was predeceased by: her sisters, Emma Jean Ballard and Pearlie Mae Reese. She is survived by: her sons, Andre L. Ballard, Sr., Marcus L. Thomas, Sr. and Terry J. Thomas, Sr.; and her siblings, Henry Ballard, Willie Ballard and Christine Dobbins. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
