It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cassandra Barrow Owten (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Willie Dunson. She is survived by: her husband Tommie Owten Sr.; her mother Corine J Dunson; her children, Ira Boykin (Tarsha), Robert Gerald (Karin), Tommie Owten Jr., Terry Gerald (Princess), Tiffany Taylor (Gladston) and Jonathan Owten; her siblings, Jerome Dunson (Shawne), Belinda Autry (Joseph) and Wendy DelValle (Derek); and her nephews, Aaron Dunson, Brian, Brandon and Brady DelValle. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
