He is survived by: his wife Ruby Carolyn Bridges; his children, Alvin Richard Daugherty, Bradley David Daugherty and Julie Ann Newsom; his grandchildren, Christopher Myers, Davey Daugherty, Caroline Daugherty, Anna Daugherty, Travis Myers, Peyton Daugherty, Nick Daugherty and Gracie Daugherty; and his great grandchild Felicity Daugherty.
