The memory of Carolyn Ann Marshall of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her son Samuel E. Marshall III; her parents, Henry Clyde Blalock and Lynda Cornelison Blalock; and her brothers, Reverand Richard J. Blalock and Wilburn C. Blalock.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel E. Marshall, Jr.; her children, Terri L. Marshall-Holder (Gregory Holder) and Wade P. Marshall (Eric Wagner); her grandchildren, Christopher M. Farris (Ashley) and Jennifer L. Acocella (Thomas John); her great grandchildren, Katherine E. Farris, Marshall B. Farris and Benjamin M. Acocella; and her sister Marie Blalock Clepper. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ridgedale Baptist Church (1831 Hickory Valley Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Carolyn's honor to the American Cancer Society.
